What can I say about my favorite ever backyard wedding! Georgia and Nick worked tirelessly on creating this special kind of magic and I am so glad they hired me to document it. Found in the heart of Northern Tasmania is a wild and rugged place called Patersonia. There resides Georgia's beloved Aunt and Uncles house with the dreamy title of Rainbows End. A gorgeous, unique home straight out of a story book. Sitting high on a hill, with views of the looming Mount Barrow in the distance adding a touch of romance and wild to the landscape. It was a deliciously hot Tasmanian day and we soaked up the sun as the river endlessly trickled by carrying with it the promises of I do's and hearts captured forever. Gin the timid, gentle and loving Border Collie who makes up Georgia and Nick's world stole the show and won the smiles of the expecting crowd. Dogs at weddings are a treat and Gin behaved like the lady she is! My hubby Nathan used to always accompany me at weddings, as we were child free for this date he was my super star assistant once more. He got lots of puppy cuddles and was able to hold onto Gin when we needed time to work some camera magic and create dreamy and romantic portraits and memories. Best bonus was road trippin with my man up and down our beautiful State, I sure do love my job!
